SHINING A LIGHT ON AUTISM 2025

On Sunday, June 8th, we are calling upon churches—

both locally and nationally—to take part in 

“Shining a Light on Autism: 

A Special Mission Offering for National Night Out.” 

This offering will directly support National Night Out in Paterson, NJ, on August 5th at Amistad Park —a powerful event dedicated to fostering unity, spreading awareness, and providing essential resources for families affected by autism.

Autism touches countless lives in our neighborhoods, and many families face challenges in accessing the support they need. Through this initiative, we aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where every child and family feels valued and supported. This event will feature:

• Support Alliance connecting families with public and private resources
• Transition Fair for families caring for individuals with autism
• Engaging activities designed to educate, uplift, and bring joy to the community

Your church’s participation will play a vital role in bringing awareness, fostering understanding, and spreading hope 

to families navigating the challenges of autism. 

Your generosity will help us provide:

• Amusement rides, a bouncy house, and children’s entertainment
• A movie truck for an unforgettable community experience
• Hot meals for children who may otherwise go without, especially outside the school year
